Broker/Owner

Cameron started buying rentals in 2014 to have more freedom from the ups and downs of the oil and gas business. Quickly, he built a sizable rental portfolio - one year buying a new property every six weeks.

Managing the properties became the next hurdle, and he couldn’t find a property management company that would be transparent about fees and property issues, knowledgeable about the Houston market, had experience owning rental property, and had a great resident community. So he continued to manage the properties himself, and soon friends and colleagues began handing their properties over to Cameron to manage.

Cameron found his passion helping people create wealth and financial freedom through real estate. So after several years of unofficial property management, in 2018, Emerson Property Management was founded.

Cameron is a licensed Real Estate Broker and member of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM). He enjoys the outdoors, traveling and spending time with his fiancé Mary, vizsla Lola, friends and family.

Director of Operations

Margo epitomizes integrity, energy, hard work and creative service in every detail of her work! As a property management expert, Margo plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the value of owner’s properties while ensuring exceptional living experiences for tenants. Margo has been a licensed Realtor since 1994 and active in property management and real estate, since 1982. Her decades of experience in property management has afforded her the opportunity to become familiar with all aspects of property management. Her experience includes, directly managing operations for multiple privately and publicly held business entities for an overall value exceeding $1.5 billion. Management of multiple regional asset management offices including mortgagee compliance, property management, property preservation, marketing, closing and customer service teams. Her work also includes vendor management and training of a large network of real estate brokers, lenders and appraisers on HUD/FHA underwriting and program requirements.

As well, Margo has been a nationally recognized instructor where she delivered comprehensive, high-energy, interactive seminars to over 50,000 real estate agents in 26 states on growing their business through the inclusion of foreclosed properties.

Margo is a member of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM) and has her Texas Residential Property Manager (TRPM) certification.

Resident Services Manager

Liz began her real estate journey in 2011 in the title side of the industry and spent 6 years working up from Receptionist to Escrow Administrator to the Branch Manager. The majority of the experience while in title came with problem solving real estate investors’ unique situations to get to the closing table.

At the end of 2017, she was given an opportunity to work for a well known wholesaling company to use her knowledge of title to be the Transaction Coordinator and eventually the Office Manager. This venture would last for about 3 years, learning more about investment world.

At the beginning of 2020, she started working for Emerson Property Management. She wholeheartedly believes in Emerson’s core values and that effective property management positively impacts people's lives. That’s the #1 goal – making a positive impact! She is now a licensed realtor handling the leasing side of the company and resident relations.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family (husband Peter and daughter Persephone), her pets (Kingsley the pug and Frederick the cat) and loves music, dance and volunteering.
