Cameron Tope Broker/Owner

Cameron started buying rentals in 2014 to have more freedom from the ups and downs of the oil and gas business. Quickly, he built a sizable rental portfolio - one year buying a new property every six weeks.

Managing the properties became the next hurdle, and he couldn’t find a property management company that would be transparent about fees and property issues, knowledgeable about the Houston market, had experience owning rental property, and had a great resident community. So he continued to manage the properties himself, and soon friends and colleagues began handing their properties over to Cameron to manage.

Cameron found his passion helping people create wealth and financial freedom through real estate. So after several years of unofficial property management, in 2018, Emerson Property Management was founded.

Cameron is a licensed Real Estate Broker and member of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM). He enjoys the outdoors, traveling and spending time with his fiancé Mary, vizsla Lola, friends and family.

Kim began her career in 1994 as a Leasing Agent with a prominent Property Management company overseeing multiple apartment complexes across Dallas-Fort Worth. Through exceptional customer service, a strong work ethic, and a keen desire to learn, she quickly advanced through several roles over a 3-year period, ultimately becoming the Director of Leasing.

After stepping away from the industry for family reasons, Kim returned to the field in 2017, accepting a Property Manager role with a leading North Dallas real estate firm focused on single-family and multi-family investments. In January 2024, Kim joined Emerson Property Management, where she found alignment with the company's values of transparency, integrity, and commitment to providing a positive experience for investors, tenants, and vendors.
